Let's Make a Difference

We will be spotlighting a different charity each day between
November 29 and December 4.

  • The ARC: protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities 
  • Marine Toys for Tots Foundation: helping to bring joy to less fortunate children this holiday
  • Black Girls CODE: building pathways for young women of color to embrace the current tech marketplace
  • Kids In Need Foundation: supporting under-resourced students, so every child has equal opportunity and access to a quality education
  • Meals on Wheels: helping to end food insecurity of our senior neighbors, extending their independence and health as they age

Selective is once again hosting the #SelectiveWeekofGiving to honor organizations that actively bring people together in their communities through fellowship and philanthropy. The Selective Insurance Group Foundation is donating $10,000 to each of the following five organizations that are working to bring people together and provide access to needed resources. The Foundation will also match donations from $50-$500 per agency or Selective employee made between 11/29/21 and 12/31/21 to one of these organizations – up to $10,000 in total agency match per organization. If you are an agency or Selective employee seeking a matching donation to The Arc, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Black Girls CODE, Kids In Need Foundation, or Meals on Wheels, make your donation through the charity's website, and email a copy of your receipt showing the donation to Foundation@Selective.com by Friday, December 31, 2021. The Foundation will send the matching donation directly to the nonprofit of your choice.

We believe that by strengthening our communities with philanthropic programs, we are supporting our commitment to keep communities safe. While we give charitably and volunteer throughout the year, our Week of Giving campaign is a great opportunity during the holidays to support organizations making an impact in our local communities.
