Georgia Directive 24-EX-6

The Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire has issued Directive 24-EX-6, which prohibits insurers from cancelling policies for non-payment for policyholders in certain counties affected by Tropical Storm Helene. The Directive was issued and effective October 1, 2024.

Insurers must not cancel policies for non-payment for residents of the following counties until further advised by the Department:
