We recently took a close look at holiday gift-giving and insurance. We wanted to understand consumer awareness and the likelihood of updating insurance policies after purchasing or receiving high-value ($1,000 or more) items during the holidays.
Selective commissioned a study, conducted by The Harris Poll, to determine how many home insurance policyholders purchased or received high-value items this past holiday season and if they updated or plan to update their homeowners or renters insurance coverage to include the new item(s).
